A Digital Signage Installation combines one or more TV screens with a Content Management System, to deliver targeted information to an audience. This information can be in the form of advertisements, corporate branding, delegate messages and scheduling information. At Kings Mill Hospital, we installed three Panasonic 65” Professional Plasma Displays in the main reception area, delivering key messages to patients.
It became clear during the site visit, that whilst there were three structural roof supports each capable of supporting a plasma display, it would prove more aesthetically pleasing to design system that sited all three screens on one central pillar in a triangular arrangement. A bespoke triangular clamp-on support bracket was proposed to avoid the back of each display being visible, also giving the added advantage of a 360 degree sight line throughout the entrance area.
NAV’s Media Department created a base package of content, including animated corporate identity stings, three short public information videos filmed on location at the hospital, staff profile screens & public health information digital posters.
The Chilwell School Arts Theatre is a busy and vibrant facility serving both students and the local community, regularly showing latest blockbuster releases to the general public.
After undertaking other successful education installations at the school, NAV were approached with a view to upgrading the theatres cinema projection system. The original 3.5m screen was replaced with a modern 6m, 16:10 ratio motorised screen, and the projector upgraded to provide stunning HD picture quality, especially given the blackout conditions of the theatre.
